Hi! I am Devaganthan :)

I’m a second-year Master’s student in Machine Learning Department at MBZUAI, Abu Dhabi, where I’m lucky to be advised by Prof. Samuel Horvath and Prof. Praneeth Vepakomma

Before this, I completed my Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, where I worked on Low-Light Image Enhancement under Prof. Kaushik Mitra

My current research interests lie at the intersection of Federated Optimization and Privacy

Outside of research, I have a broad curiosity and enjoy engaging deeply with ideas covering a wide range of topics! The Blog section here is a natural outcome of that inclination. Feel free to reach out, if you find something interesting. I’m always up for a discussion!

I also love running and am drawn to all things artistic, especially film and music.
